This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Awarding Organisation in Stroud. Part of Crossfields Institute, the Awarding Organisation is looking for an administration manager to work with our approved centres and manage the online system for registration and certification of students. An eye for detail, IT skills and a high degree of organisation and initiative are essential. This is a new role where there will be opportunities to expand into other areas of responsibility.

Location: Crossfields Institute office in Stroud/home working
Hours: Part time (20 hours per week)
Duration: Permanent (after probation period)
Salary: £30,000 (pro-rata)

Job Vacancy: Qualification Developer

We are seeking experienced regulated qualification developers with an understanding of awarding organisation quality assurance processes. We are particularly seeking those with subject specialist knowledge in the curriculum areas of integrated and holistic education (including early years), agriculture (including gardening) and health & social care.

Location: working from home but may occasionally be required to attend meetings at the Stroud office of Crossfields Institute or with specialist organisations around the UK.

Fee: variable, depending on scope of work

Job Vacancy: Responsible Officer

Responsible Officer

The Responsible Officer is the authoritative point of contact for Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) in relation to all regulated activities undertaken by Crossfields Institute.

The post holder reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is expected to provide regular written and verbal reports to the Board of Trustees, as well as The Responsible Officer position may be combined with the position of Head of Quality in which case the responsibilities of the latter form part of the job description.

Location: Crossfields Institute offices in Stroud, Gloucestershire

Salary: competitive, dependent on experience

Hours: part-time, minimum of 8 hours per week.

Biodynamic Communications and Project Manager – Could you be our next Star?

We are looking for a bright energetic self -motivated and well- organised part time (2 days) experienced professional executive to join our small dedicated team in our mission to foster and promote biodynamic farming , gardening and food in the UK. Our new executive will work closely with our Director, Lynda Brown, and her team, in developing all aspects of communications and PR, including responsibility for our website; and be co-responsible and manage a variety of projects such membership, events, and our consumer marketing project for Demeter food. Sound knowledge and experience of organics or biodynamics is essential, as are consumer facing communication skills, WordPress, and social media skills. Fund raising/ marketing / journalistic experience is desirable.

Closing date 1st September 2017.  Anticipated start date Oct 2017. Salary dependant on experience, up to £27K FTE, 16 hours per week. Home based but regular attendance in Stroud, Glos.
